Todd Rippon, Vice-President
Todd is the Wellington-based Equity vice president and was re-elected unopposed in 2015. He has appeared in film and television productions including Castaway, Return to the Blue Lagoon, The Frighteners, and The Lord of the Rings.
Todd has also appeared in King Kong, Hercules, Xena, Shortland Street, McPhail and Gadsby and Dark Knight. He has been a professional actor for 27 years.
He first began performing professionally at The Auckland Youth Theatre in 1980. After freelancing for five years he went to Australia and trained at The Victorian College of the Arts Drama School in Melbourne. His theatre credits include Location Location, Shear Madness, The Rise and Fall of Little Voice, A Comedy of Errors, Blue Remembered Hills, Piaf, Taming of the Shrew and Forskin’s Lament.
Todd has been a member of the MEAA since 1988.
