Sister Anzac - 100% Equity cast
Sister Anzac is on at Te Pou theatre from 3 - 6 September as part of the Going West Festival. This 100% Equity cast of Donogh Rees, Alex Ellis, Anthea Hill, Gina Timberlake, David Capstick and Jordan Blaikie is directed by Equity member Amanda Rees. The play is written by Equity member Geoff Allen.
Sister Anzac is the story of the nurses who went to Gallipoli on the hospital ship Maheno. A poignant and personal story embracing love and the human spirit and celebrating the strength and courage of New Zealand women amidst the horror of WWI.
