VOTE FOR YOUR EQUITY NEW ZEALAND BOARD
Postal votes opened this week for voting in your Equity New Zealand board (referred to as the General Section Delegates to Branch Council in your ballot papers). You will receive voting material from the Australian Electoral Commission this week in the mail.
You cannot vote online - you need to post your vote.
Equity NZ members will get two ballot papers - the first is for our Equity NZ Branch Council where 8 candidates have been nominated for 7 positions. On this ballot, you will see the names of many existing board members and some new candidates. The positions of Branch President, and Branch Vice-Presidents are not being contested and so are not on this ballot, but you will vote for the rest of the board.
The second ballot paper is for the position of Equity Federal Vice-President where three candidates have been nominated for two positions. All Equity members in New Zealand and Australia are able to vote for these positions. All Equity members are asked to vote in this important election. Your board will be representing you in important negotiations around pay rates, residuals, and many other things for the next two years so make your vote count. Please remember to post your vote after filling in the ballot paper. For any help or further information, contact the office.
